What is Acupuncture ?

ACUPUNCTURE is a Medical Science recognized by WHO. Acupuncture is a Latin word, Composed of two words Acus Means Needle & Punctura means to Puncture. In this science Diseases are treated by inserting small needles on Acupuncture Points. It’s known to everybody that acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses, fine needles for curing diseases. For centuries now acupuncture is the most important cure in the Far East, China, Japan and Korea. The reason is that eastern thinking traditions, philosophy and acupuncture have evolved together. In the western world, where acupuncture is of growing importance in medicine, the concept that mind body and environment interact very closely is now widely accepted. Acupuncture is based on the concept of energy. In a natural, healthy situation, all forms of energy between an organism and its environment are in balance with each other. Disease; however is, to put it simply, disorder of the natural balance. In those cases the body is not capable of restoring the balance again by itself, acupuncture can offer help.

Q. Are Acupuncture Needles painful ?

A. No Acupuncture Needels are not painful, because acupuncture needles are very fine like our hair, it goes in body by separating the body fibers, also we are not injecting any medicine hence it is not painful.

Q. Weather there is any chance of AIDs or any cross Infection in this Therapy ?

A. No there is no chance of cross infections because needles are well sterilized before use & we keep separates sets of needles for each & every patients.
We also use disposable needles.
